Meeting Minutes, 3rd
Quarter
Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association
Meeting at, 40 ET 8, Voiture 99, 7607 NE 26 Ave, Vancouver,
WA.
Subject: Minutes of
business meeting and other notes of interest.
The meeting was started at 10:30 AM, including lunch &
fellowship.
- Chapter president, Chris Farwell. The main emphasis today was to
enjoy a meal together and to rededicate a Huey (UH-1) repaired and repainted
by a great group of men lead by Michael Harding. An email is attached from
Harding describing the duties needed to prepare and repaint the aircraft.
Michael Harding was also instrumental in the dedication ceremony at the new
VA Veterans Memorial Garden. These men worked on the finish painting job:
Mike Harding, Michael Rettig, Dan Passmore, Greg Whitson, Dana Luce, Phil
Rumschottel, Dave Greer, Gil Porter, Bruce Barker. Well Done. [None of these
men are chapter members.]
- New Business: No new business was discussed. The next meeting is
scheduled for the Auburn Veterans Parade Nov. 10.
- Old Business: None
Meeting concluded.

- 13:30 hours Ceremonies at the VA Hospital
Vancouver, WA. On POW/ MIA Recognition Day & Rededication Ceremony of the
Huey “Lady Bell” display helicopter.
